Background:
Our group's question is, What are the causes and consequences of gender and inequality in the workforce?What can be done to eliminate it?
WHY I WANT TO KNOW:
Women have always made great strides in the workplace, however, inequality continues to linger. The disparity between women and men could be because of lack of education, or even care-giving responsibilities that women are compelled to face, on the other hand, men are free of all these factors.
The afflicted world in which we live is characterized by a deeply unequal sharing of the burden of adversities between women and men. Women in the workplace are more likely to have limits in every aspect of working.
QUESTIONS I WOULD LIKE TO ANSWER:
- What are the stereotypes about female and male roles in the workforce?
- What can be done to eliminate inequality among women in the workforce?
- How do women’s education levels compare to those of men?
- Does having children affect the rate at which women participate in the labor force?
