This graph should seem strait forward considering this is what we looked at in economics. However this is what tax structure the Democrats are in favor of, they are in favor of more taxes on the wealthy to fund government programs. This is largest difference between democrats and republicans for many people when looking at the two in an economic stance, it all boils down to who's gonna pay the most!
In order to choose a side of being a Democrat or Republican, you need to first understand why they value the things that they do. Although there are many social issues they differ on like abortion, gay marriage, and minimum wage. The most important factor to look at is the tax structure. Democrats usually are in favor of a bigger government, but to get a bigger government there gonna need more money. This is where the progressive tax structure shows through, the more wealthy you are the more taxes you will have to pay to the government for programs like welfare, food stamps, and wages for government workers. Democrats usually are satisfied with the work of these programs, and wish for them to continue while republicans are more in favor of free enterprises. I truly believe that a flat tax, or instead of a tax on income, there should be a higher sales tax. This is a much better option then simply taking money from peoples hard earned money. This will work because the people who really want that new Mercedes Benz can still buy that new car, but they should have to pay a higher tax, because it is an unnecessary thing to buy. Therefore, this is the best solution to different tax issues.
