Submerging ones ego and getting along

I agree with this statement completely because I believe that in many occasions people will refuse to take action when their ego and pride may be challenged. The author put it the best, “ It is a great advantage to be able to swallow your pride and lose the battle in order to win the war”, meaning that sometimes to gain a greater alliance you have to lose an argument in order to get a greater reward with that ally in the future.

Energy and Physical Stamina

Work ethic is a huge part in any persons personal success. The more you put in the more you’ll get out. Some leaders have 10 hour work days, totaling up to 60-65 hours a week. Not only can you outwork those who are more intelligent but turns you into a role model for other workers.

Focus

Focus is the key to getting things done well and efficiently. Being able to not get distracted allows jobs to get done quickly and have great quality. Also the article talks about how focusing on one aspect of your career can help majorily for advancements in that field.
